Purple Comet Orchestra is an instrumental fusion collective based in Vancouver, BC, performing unique, high-energy arrangements of video game & movie themes. Primarily an 8 to 11-piece live band, the project also exists as a YouTube channel with videos featuring guest musicians from around the world.

Repertoire is centered around classic Nintendo soundtracks, including The Legend of Zelda, Kirby, Mario, and Donkey Kong; as well as other iconic themes from throughout gaming and cinematic history. All music is arranged by Canadian composer & pianist Jared Richardson.
